Chapter 36
Chapter 36
Sleep is the First Productivity
She lifted the covers and sat on him.
Shuangyun looked at the lying Cheng Lang, her body slightly leaning back, her hands supporting behind her.
Her body was thus displayed to the extreme.
Cheng Lang quickly surrendered under extreme mental stimulation.
Shuangyun took a shower. Her long hair wrapped up, she sat on the living room sofa watching TV.
The curtains were opened. Outside, the sun was setting.
Cheng Lang brought his computer, asking Shuangyun which house she liked. He was about to start the application.
Shuangyun sat in his lap and looked carefully, finally choosing one.
"You like this one?" Cheng Lang asked.
"Yes, what about you?" Shuangyun also asked.
"I like what you like." Cheng Lang clicked into the application interface.
Shuangyun went to the bathroom to blow-dry her hair.
Cheng Lang looked somewhat distracted at the bathroom's lit light, but he quickly refocused and filled out all the detailed application content.
It was already somewhat dark outside. When Shuangyun came out, she turned on the light.
Cheng Lang had already handled most of the matters for going to New York. Only the plane tickets hadn't been booked yet.
It wasn't that he didn't want to book them, just... it seemed like he'd been subconsciously procrastinating.
Cheng Lang actually knew why.
He'd never asked Shuangyun if she wanted to go live in New York with him, and Shuangyun had never said she wanted to go live in New York with him.
She only described life in New York, but never described her and his life together in New York.
Cheng Lang didn't dare ask. He was afraid she'd give a resounding refusal.
Booking tickets—what if she didn't plan to go together at all?
Or what if she booked both outbound and return tickets?
Besides, what would Shuangyun do in New York?
Cheng Lang had never asked, because he didn't dare.
She'd slept with him now. Didn't she want to take some responsibility?
Shuangyun sat next to him and asked: "Have you booked the tickets?"
Cheng Lang looked at her: "Not yet."
"We can look now." Shuangyun said and took the mouse.
Cheng Lang quietly watched her, watched her search for two one-way tickets.
Cheng Lang's arms tightened around Shuangyun.
Shuangyun was still carefully checking if the dates and times were suitable.
"Do you think this time works?"
Cheng Lang said yes.
Shuangyun continued clicking, her gaze very focused.
Cheng Lang felt he couldn't hold back anymore.
"Shuangyun Liang." He called her name.
Shuangyun turned around.
She'd just showered. Her face was pure, making him want to lower his head and kiss her cheek.
But Cheng Lang held back. He asked:
"Have you ever thought about coming to live in New York with me?"
